New Season, a national leader in medical treatment for opioid use disorder, participated in many events across the U.S. to recognize National Recovery Month. Enjoy this photo recap that journeys through a sampling of the activities New Season hosted or participated in to commemorate this celebratory month.

To mark National Overdose Awareness Day Aug. 31, the team at the New Season Dallas County Treatment Center organized a community event, “Let’s Talk Opioids,” to bridge local agencies with patients overcoming opioid use disorder. Attendees received Naloxone training, along with a complimentary Narcan kit.

New Season representatives attended the Bexar County, Texas, Commissioners Court Sept. 11 for the proclamation certifying September as National Recovery Awareness Month.

The New Season team in St. Louis, Mo., celebrated National Recovery Month with a Patient Appreciation Day. Patients were treated to donuts and coffee, and created an inspirational wall of heartfelt messages about recovering from opioid use disorder.

The Patient Appreciation Day in Biloxi, Miss., had a large turnout of staff, doctors and patients. Complimentary HIV testing was provided to patients during the event.

The New Season team in Biloxi didn’t just show their love for the patients in a day; they celebrated their patients all week! The Patient Appreciation Week culminated with patients and staff members dressing up from their favorite decade.

During the Patient Appreciation Day in San Antonio, Texas, staff members served patients donuts, tacos and drinks, and raffled off two gift baskets filled with donated goodies. The staff noted that the patients were overwhelmingly grateful.

The team at the New Season Bay Area Treatment Center in Pinellas Park, Fla., provided their patients with both food and community resources to make their Patient Appreciation Day a success.

The New Season team in Orlando, Fla., decorated their treatment center in autumn decor to for a seasonally festive celebration.

The Central New Mexico Treatment Center also held a well-attended and successful Patient Appreciation Day.

Christopher Lopez, a New Season community outreach counselor, participated as a panelist at the “Chasing the Dragon” event Sept. 24 in San Antonio, Texas.
