Mobile Community Services Join Naples Patient Appreciation Day
At the Naples Metro Treatment Center, the team partnered with various community agencies to join their Patient Appreciation Day and create a memorable event that would be beneficial to all patients beyond National Recovery Month. Several agencies went mobile, parking at the Treatment Center, to provide valuable services to patients and their families at the Treatment Center site.
- The Goodwill Job Bus offered onsite employment services with their mobile computer lab. They helped patients develop their resumes and apply for jobs using their wireless network. They also helped individuals apply for food stamps and obtain free cell phones from SafeLink Wireless.
- The Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida provided on site dental care for all patients. Dental care included X-rays, cleanings, fillings and even extractions, all on site, via their mobile Winnebago surgery center.
- The Collier County Health Department was on site offering HIV and STD testing and are now partnering with the Naples Metro Treatment Center to offer free birth control to all patients.
Lastly, the Naples team partnered with the local Golden Corral who donated festive food like chili, cheese, toppings and heating containers. The Naples team contributed by grilling hot dogs on site and sharing a lovely sunny day with patients and partners alike.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a huge success and celebrating the improvements our patients are making every day!
